The Oaks smart lock is one of the market’s most advanced commercial keyless door locks. It can be controlled remotely, and it can also unlock automatically when you come near your home.
However, you may experience some problems with your Oaks smart locks. Here, we have listed the most common issues associated with this product and provided tips on solving them.
There are many reasons your Oaks smart lock does not work or your door isn’t closing. Now, let’s outline the most common problems and how to fix them.
If your Oaks smart lock app doesn’t connect with the smart lock, try these steps:
The most common problem with any smart lock is that it may not work correctly. This can be caused by several factors, such as whether the batteries are charged if the app you are using to control it is installed correctly, or if there is an issue with the hardware itself.

If your Oaks smart lock is not turning on, you can check a few things to see what could be causing the issue.
If your smart lock is having trouble unlocking, check the following:
If you have a smart lock, the door may be locked even though you didn’t intend to lock it.
If this happens, check to see if your door is physically locked (it should be green in the app). If not, check if you have a notification on your phone from the last time you accessed/locked/unlocked the door.
If your door is locked, but the app says it’s unlocked:
Your smart lock may have been “locked” for a long time and has automatically returned to the last programmed state. This can be resolved by pressing the button on your smart lock until it beeps twice. Once you hear this sound, release and unlock should work fine.
Check the battery level indicator on your screen and ensure it’s high enough to keep working.
Suppose you see that it’s a Battery Alarm. If you forget to replace the old batteries, you can open your front door with a 9v battery on instant charging.
The IC cable is stuck with the locking tongue. You must correctly place the IC line according to the installation instructions of the Install Inside Mounting Plate.
Please press and hold the reset button 3s-5s until you hear the sound “DiDi” and try to connect again.
