How to connect Schlage Connect to wifi?

Today I just moved to a new house with a Schlage Connect lock installed on the door.

I checked from Google and I think I can connect Schlage Connect to wifi and operate it from my phone.

But I found nothing and useful tips to help me. Can you please assist?

Unlike the Schlage Encode does not have built-in Wi-Fi capabilities. Instead, Schlage Connect uses Z-Wave technology to communicate with other smart devices in your home.

To connect Schlage Connect to Wi-Fi or remotely control it via the internet, you’ll need a compatible Z-Wave hub or smart home system to connect to Wi-Fi.

Here’s how you can connect your Schlage Connect to Wi-Fi using a Z-Wave hub:

Choose a Z-Wave Hub:
- Several Z-Wave hubs are available on the market, such as Samsung SmartThings, Wink, or Vera, among others. Ensure your chosen hub is compatible with Schlage Connect and can connect to Wi-Fi.
Set Up the Z-Wave Hub:
- Follow the manufacturer’s instructions to set up your Z-Wave hub and connect it to your Wi-Fi network.
Pair Schlage Connect with the Hub:
- Put your Z-Wave hub in “discovery” or “pairing” mode. The exact steps will vary depending on the hub you’re using.
- On the Schlage Connect, enter your programming code (found on the sticker on the lock’s user manual or the back of the interior part of the lock) followed by the ‘0’ key. This will put the lock in pairing mode.
- Your Z-Wave hub should detect the Schlage Connect lock and add it to your list of devices.
Control Through the Hub’s App:
