The steps for changing the code on your Schlage BE365 are the same as with Schlage FE595.

To change the code on Schlage lock BE365, you must delete this user code first and then add a new four-digit code instead of changing the previous entry code.

Here’s a general guide to help you through the process:

Step 1: Delete your old four-digit user code on your Schlage BE365.

  • Enter your programming code and wait for the “Schlage Button,” which shows three orange Lights +3 beeps.
  • Press” Schlage Button” until the “Schlage Button” turns blue.
  • Press “2” and wait for Schlage Button 3 Orange Lights +3 Beeps,
  • Enter the Unwanted user code (four numbers). Wait for  Schlage Button 3 Orange Lights +3 Beeps,
  • Enter the Same Unwanted user code

Step 2: Add a new four-digit user code on your Schlage BE365.

  • Enter your programming code and wait for the “Schlage Button,” which shows three orange Lights +3 beeps.
  • Press” Schlage Button” until the “Schlage Button” turns blue.
  • Press “1” on the Schlage keypad and wait for the “Schlage Button” to show 3 Orange Lights +3 Beeps,
  • Enter your new user code (four digital numbers). Then wait for the “Schlage Button” to show 3 Orange Lights +3 Beeps,
  • Enter the same new user code again.

Note: The Schlage BE365 allows for multiple user codes. If you want to add more codes, repeat step 2 for each new code. If you want to delete a user code, follow a slightly different process. Refer to the user manual for your specific lock model to ensure you follow the correct procedure.

Remember to keep your programming code and user codes confidential to maintain security. If you ever lose the programming code, you might need to contact Schlage or a locksmith for assistance.
