Out hotel's Onity HT22 key card encoder may needs some maintenance, as it sometimes fails to issue to the key card. I guess it might need some cleaning. So what's the best way to clean Onity key card encoder?

In our experience, the HT22 encoder requires very little maintenance.
If your encoder starts to have some encoding errors, you may need to clean the encoder slots.
In this case, use a can of compressed air (designed for use with computers and electronic devices).
Blow the air through the encoder's slots. Repeat several times to clean the encoder.

If the problem persists, you can use a cleaning card purchased from Onity. Insert the cleaning card into the card slot of the HT22 encoder and then remove it, repeating this process several times.
